Poll: Book Covers – How…?

Yesterday’s poll (still open, no worries) was about the importance of a book cover…

Today’s first question is:

How much of ‘do it yourself’ is (would be) in your book cover?

Today’s second question is:

How much are you willing to spend for your book cover?

Looking forward to your answers!  🙂

  1. Great poll! Since I designed my own book cover, I’m somewhat biased in that respect with my poll answers. The way I’ve done it was to see something I like and attempt to make something similar to it. Something about the whole getting into the creative concept appeals to me!

    • Thank you, Jack. You did a great job with your book cover! As I stated in a comment for the previous post, your cover is the first that comes to my mind that I absolutely like and also remember.

  2. Hi there,
I would say, unless you have a flair for design then you should seek help from a professional designer. You just can’t leave the results to luck because your cover is the very first thing that your viewers will see, not your beautiful story. 🙂

    • This is true. A cover helps selling. Sometimes the book cover for the European market can be quite appealing, and the book cover for the American market is boring – or the other way round.
