  1. These are great, Karen! Have you heard of this one: “It is useless to meet revenge with revenge; it will heal nothing.” It caught my eye when performing a Tolkien quote search and found it one of the most insightful thoughts to have caught my eye. He was an interesting man for sure.

    • Thank you, Jack! I have heard of the quote you mentioned. It is a great quote. More people should comprehend it.
When searching for adequate quotes, I found enough stuff for another blog post. Very interesting man, indeed.

  2. Tolkein is legitimately the best author that ever walked the earth. (But, you know, that could just be me… ;)) Love that there’s a day to honour him, plus these quotes are awesome!

    • Tolkien’s works are among the most remarkable ones, indeed. 🙂
Thank you for your feedback, Topaz! I always take the time to carefully select the quotes.

  3. I loved the first quote the most …
“All we have to decide is what to do with the time give us” > Just excellent.
    Best wishes, Karen, Aquileana 😛
