There is a monster that let all other monsters look like purring kittens. It’s the monster called Suicide…

Suicide Facts

An average of one person dies by suicide every 16.2 minutes

Many who attempt suicide never seek professional care.

For young people 15-24 years old, suicide is the third leading cause of death.

Substance abuse is a risk factor for suicide.

The strongest risk factor for suicide is depression.

Suicide can be prevented through education and public awareness.

    • Thank you very much, Tom. I did a piece on this last year. It is a sad topic; so sad that many people choose to ignore it. Let’s hope for the best, including more awareness.
