Today’s blog post is dedicated to my best friend Lisa.
In the beginning of 2013, Lisa applied for further education to become a kindergarten teacher. This meant continuing her job as a kindergarten nurse, attending Saturday classes, trainings, and reflections, studying for the exams, preparing a thesis, and demonstrating her skills. Additionally, she lovingly cared for her family (husband, two kids, two cats), her parents, her in-laws, and all everyday stuff.
We all tried to do our best to support her during this strenuous time. ‘We’ includes her husband, parents, in-laws, boss, Wolfgang and I, and some more.
Despite having passed the exams and her practical demonstration in late 2013, today was the official certificate ceremony. It was a very festive event, held in Nuremberg. Guest speaker Reinhard Kahl talked about rethinking the way of learning, and introducing the joy of learning; this was a very inspiring speech.
Lisa is now officially a kindergarten teacher, doing her utmost to make ‘her’ children comprehend our world, love to learn, and be happy.
Congratulations, Lisa! ⭐
