My Opinion
This book introduces you to Special Agent Jackson Williams who has to deal with the issue of a fatal virus, and to save the uninfected survivors. A parallel universe seems to be the ideal resort. I will not tell you more about the stories than shown in the Goodreads plot description. This would spoil the fun of reading this book yourself.
With Otherworlders, Angela Cavanaugh has created a thrilling story of survival and human behaviour. Otherworlders is a gripping and fast-paced read with realistic characters, not only enjoyable for science fiction and thriller fans. The characters develop further as the story proceeds, some for the better, others just surprised me. I was drawn into the story – sometimes nearly too close for comfort. It was like jumping from the frying pan into the fire, this triggered the characters’ (and my) survival instincts infinitely.
This is a book to read again.
About the author
She began writing in high school, between and during classes. Her first couple hobby level novels have been banished to never see the light of day. But as she matured, so did her writing skills.
She realized that writing could be more than a hobby. She fell in love with flash fiction and began posting the short stories to her blog weekly. Now, Angela spends most of time working on writing, often polishing completed short stories and novels and creating new ones.
She has self-published 22 Short Scifi Stories: a flash fiction collection on Amazon. It reached #6 on the *best seller list. It is also available in audio.

I follow her blog, and was considering one of her books the next time my reader is empty. You may have pushed me over the edge.
You’ll like this one, Craig! I also loved her Scifi collection. And your reader should reserve a slot for Angela’s works. They’re worth it.
