On the heels of a bad breakup, Amelia Montgomery heads home for the holidays. Her hometown is a far cry from the metropolis where she lives now, but not nearly far enough away from Jake Grayson.
Amelia’s family festivities turn terrifying when a distraught Jake shows up uninvited on the Montgomery’s doorstep. Jake will not stop until he possesses Amelia; one way or another, she will be his.
In a chilling nightmare, one man’s obsession is so evil, it’s deadly. Amelia must fight for her life, and the lives of those she loves most, in the only place she’s ever called home…WINTER ROAD.

After the holidays, when things settled down, I’d tell everyone the truth. Jake Grayson didn’t end up being at all what he seemed, or had promised. Sure, he was striking, wealthy beyond measure and, as far as he had said, madly in love with me. I shouldn’t have complained, and I wasn’t any longer.
It was finally over between us.
This book introduces you to Amelia Montgomery, driving home for Christmas after her breakup with Jake Grayson.
With Winter Road, Kristina Rienzi has created a thrilling novella. It is a compelling read, playing with the peaceful Christmas versus dangerous lunatic topic. Kristina Rienzi draws the reader closer to Amelia while the story evolves. I was drawn rather close to the Montgomery family. Amelia’s character is of sufficient depth, the events are chilling. Most of the story happens in one day/night, the last chapter covers what happens later.
The cover is great!
This is a book for you if you like thrillers in novella length, the Christmas season, and fast reads.
