March 2017 – Edinburgh Impressions

Dear friends and readers,

Scotland in early March may seem questionable to some; we were confident that it would be fine – and it was!

Edinburgh Castle…

Final snack at the airport and – a great quote: “Caution: Contents may cause happiness.”

The contents actually caused happiness…Β  πŸ™‚

  1. Living in Nova Scotia (New Scotland), I would love to someday visit ‘Old’ Scotland. Thanks for this post. I enjoyed the pictures, especially Greyfriar’s Bobby.

    • Absolutely. There are many palm trees in Ireland and also in the UK, Jo-Anne. In Ireland, many of them tower over the houses (bungalow style ones).

      • Western Europe is not as wet and cold as the saying goes. My sun-addicted brother considers Ireland cold. He is not satisfied with August temperatures ranging 21 – 26 Β°C and occasional showers. He prefers Greece and 40Β°C. He doesn’t know what he’s missing. πŸ˜‰
