Welcome to my blog! 🙂
This blog is destined to show my train of thoughts regarding miscellaneous topics. Sometimes I am inspired by events around me, sometimes I am inspired by the news. My posts will be written quite spontaneously. Two recurring topics are and/or will be ‘book reviews’ and ’10 statements’
My personal motto:
Don’t look back in anger!
10 statements
A typical work day begins with… black coffee and my schedule.
I lose track of time… when I am reading.
I have always… wanted to live in Ireland.
I have never… been bored.
Home means to me… being with the ones I love.
I am inspired by… almost everything.
I would like to meet… (and discuss with) the Dalai Lama.
My worst character trait… impatience.
My best character trait… open-mindedness.
The best advice I was given… keep an open mind.
Best regards from a confessing book addict. 😉
Karen

with joy that long endures.

bring the best to you and yours!

Dein Motto ist schwer einzuhalten bei Eifersucht
Stimmt. Es braucht eine ganze Weile. Dieses Motto ist hilfreich. Ein staendiger reminder…
Karen, I thought I was following you! All sorted and look forward now to receiving your posts – I love your statements. Have you ever been to Ireland? I’ve been there many times on business and each time decide I want to move there – the people, landscape, sense of humour! I felt the same about Scotland, Greece, Italy, Sweden…so many places and not enough of me!
No harm done, Annika. 🙂
Would you like to be featured in my ’10 Statements’ series – just get in touch and I’ll send you the specifics.

Thanks for following my blog, and I’m sorry it has taken me so long to respond (a book rewrite and all that). I can relate to losing track of time when reading – a lot of times I will look up and more than an hour has passed, and my husband is wondering where my brain is!
Welcome, Noelle!
There is hardly a better reason than the rewrite of a book. 🙂
Reading and writing are definitely addictive ‘tasks’.
I can related to many of your attributes, Karen, especially the book addict part. Thank you too for the “follow” today!
It’s great that you can relate to my attributes, Marian. Book addiction is certainly one of the most harmless ones.
