Blogger Recognition Award

I would like to thank Scarlet over at literatura, poesía, despertar for nominating me for the Blogger Recognition Award. I truly enjoy Scarlet’s inspiring blog.

The rules
  1. Write a post to show your award
  2. Give a brief story of how your blog started
  3. Give two advice notes to new bloggers
  4. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to your blog
  5. Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to.
Rule check
  1. You are reading this blog post…
  2. My Train of Thoughts on… started – because I wanted to write about books, writing and writers. Reading and reviewing is as much an addiction as drinking coffee. [Where is my mug?!]
This blog evolved, therefore you can regularly enjoy ’10 Statement’ and ‘3 Quotes’ blog posts; adding some travel impressions hopefully adding an inspiring touch.  😉
In a Small Compass started – because I wanted to write stories. There are short stories and flash fiction series; the completed flash fiction series will be published in a few months.
  3. Advice for new bloggers:
    1. Do not fear to hit the ‘Publish’ button. Stage fright should never keep you from speaking your mind.

    2. Visit blogs, follow them, interact. Our blogging community is awesome, there is always a place for you.
  4. The first paragraph in this blog post expresses my heart-felt thanks to Scarlet and her amazing blog.
  5. Dear readers, you all deserve my appreciation! Some of you do not accept awards – I respect that. All others, please feel free to accept the honour of this fabulous award.

I also know that some of you do not accept awards and some of you already were awarded the Prémio Dardos; therefore I nominate some other dear bloggers, hoping that you at least consider this nomination as a token of my appreciation.

Infinity Dreams Award

Hey everyone! Another award has found its way to my blog: I have been nominated for the Infinity Dreams Award by Assia from The A Blog – check out her awesome blog here. Thank you very much for thinking of me and/or my blog, Assia!

The rules:

  1. Thank the blog that nominated you.
  2. Answer the questions given to you by the blogger that nominated you.
  3. Nominate other bloggers and get them to answer your own questions!

Assia’s questions for me:

Would you have your future predicted?

My spontaneous thought: No. If we ‘know’, we stop acting normally and/or using our common sense. I wouldn’t want that for myself. If you’d like to have your future predicted, I’d love to find out if the crystal ball really works, though.  😉

What’s a magical power you’d like to have?

I’d like to be able to create a protective shield for those in need of protection.

What’s a fantasy fictional character you’d like to be for a day?

This is a tricky question. The first character that crossed my mind was Gandalf. On second thought, this could well be Albus Dumbledore. Aslan could well be my choice. It is obvious what they have in common: they are wise and kind-hearted.

Which celebrity would you swap your body with?

I wouldn’t want to swap even for a second. I have my virtues and flaws – they are an important part of my being.

Would you go on a trip around the universe?

If it is like a cruise on a river – immediately. If it is like a train ride – immediately. If it is like a helicopter ride – immediately. If it is like taking a plane – I’d have to rethink.  😀

My Infinity Dream Award themed questions for my nominees:

Did you ever have a déjà-vu?

If you were given one hour for time-travel – who would you like to meet?

What triggers your wanderlust?

Where would you rather be right now?

Who (or what) inspired you most in 2015?
